12th day of Christmas cards

On the 12th day of Christmas my CTMH consultant sent to me...

Twelve wrapped gifts!

CTMH supplies used: Jingle paper pack, Juniper, Tulip and White Daisy cardstock, Tulip and Juniper ink, Holiday Trinkets and Just for the Holidays stamp sets.

  1. I love this card Pam. How did you make the rosette? Did you get the Tim Holtz die?

  2. Thanks! I have been struggling with trying to make one of these buggers for weeks, I could never get it to lay down w/o it springing up, but I found out the here it is, but first I will tell you that I didn't use a die. I took a strip of 12" paper and cut one edge with a scalloped scissors, then I scored at every "dip" in the scallop. I then did the mountain and valley folds, connected the ends...and here is the trick: have a circle (about 1/2" in diameter) ready with a large glue dot on it, push on the middle of the rosette so it's flat and place it on top of the punched circle and voila, it stays! Hope this makes sense, if not-I can post step by step pictures.
